- ➤ Florida gas prices increased for the second consecutive week as regular fuel averaged $2.91 per gallon on Monday, up from $2.85 last week—this rate remains about 3.6% lower than the national average while still falling 7 cents from last month's figure. The Gainesville Sun

- ➤ Girls ages 14 to 18 will join Dream on Purpose’s free three-day Career Launch Intensive in Gainesville from November 15 to 17 — the program includes a resume workshop at Santa Fe College, a shopping event for professional attire at Ross Dress for Less and a headshot plus networking session at The Luxe Creative Space.
