- ➤ Governor DeSantis announced Florida ranked number one in higher education by U.S. News World Report for the tenth consecutive year at a Gainesville press conference yesterday—stating that low in-state tuition and high graduation rates help keep degree costs low and on-time graduation strong. - ➤ UF student government elections have seen 6,155 ballots cast at multiple campus spots on the first day while voting will continue through tonight. - ➤ Two Frazer School students were named among the top 1% of testers on the CLT10 exam during the 2024-2025 academic year. They will each receive a $2,500 scholarship from over 300 partner colleges—recognition that underscores their academic excellence. The Gainesville Sun

- ➤ Florida has introduced new Safe Haven baby boxes that serve as a secure drop-off option for at-risk newborns. The boxes are installed at select hospitals and law enforcement facilities to provide immediate, anonymous care — state authorities said. WCJB

- ➤ Jonathan Perzley has built his career as an NFL agent by signing more former Gators than any other and now represents 56 players, more than 3% of all NFL players.
