- ➤ Gainesville police arrested Craig Darnell Presley, 52, and Chadrick Rodell Smith Jr., 27, on September 7 after a 5-year-old child was found wandering in an apartment complex and the men admitted they had stopped searching for the boy—Presley was charged with child neglect and Smith faces similar charges with bail set at $25,000.
