GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Gainesville voters will vote YES on a Local Public Utilities referendum on Nov. 4 aimed at restoring local control of GRU after the state took control in 2023 by appointing five board members under Gov. - ➤ Florida football dropped from the USLBM Top 25 after losing 18-16 to USF at The Swamp on September 6. The Gators, now 1-1 under head coach Billy Napier, will play LSU on September 13 and Miami on September 20. GatorSports
