- ➤ Jacari Robinson, 31—arrested last night after deputies found a stolen Springfield XD9 pistol and marijuana during a traffic stop on E. University Avenue—was booked on a warrant for allegedly punching a neighbor in September 2024. Alachua Chronicle
- ➤ On August 29, Florida Highway Patrol stopped a stolen Ford Expedition on I-75 near Gainesville and arrested 20-year-old Seth Collin Bradford and 28-year-old Robert Emanuel Cormier for a Miami robbery involving jewelry, a Louis Vuitton bag, and other items — they face grand theft charges with bail set at $40,000 and $100,000. - ➤ Chanda Lukeveia Agosto, 30, was arrested on August 30 on charges of battery and child abuse after she allegedly sprayed mace on a 12-year-old and an adult at a Holly Heights bus stop—witnesses said she chased the child and sprayed the adult while breaking up a fight. Alachua Chronicle
- ➤ An Inglis man was arrested on Aug. 30 after breaking into a home and stealing an electric bike—authorities said he tried to flee on the bike and on foot and now faces a bond of more than 77 thousand dollars. WCJB
