- ➤ Authorities evacuated apartments and blocked University Avenue from 8th Avenue to 10th Avenue after a barricaded gunman fired shots from a unit at an apartment near UF while serving an arrest warrant—no injuries were reported. WCJB
- ➤ A suspect fired a shot at deputies Tuesday morning near UF while officers attempted to serve him a felony narcotics warrant, and he barricaded himself in an apartment near NW 9th Street and University Avenue—residents were evacuated and West University Avenue between 8th and 10th Street was closed—and no one was injured.
