CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Former Walmart worker Drevon Javaris Parker, 26, was arrested and charged with attempted homicide after he allegedly shot a Walmart employee during an argument inside the staff area at Butler Plaza Walmart on SW 42nd Street—police say surveillance video shows him fleeing and a tan pistol was later found in his car, with the victim now in critical condition. - ➤ A former Walmart employee (26-year-old Drevon Parker) shot a man at the Butler Plaza store in Gainesville around 10 p.m. Wednesday after an argument and later turned himself in at the Gainesville Police Department (he was booked on a first-degree attempted murder charge) while the victim was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
