- ➤ Florida's minimum wage will rise to $15 an hour on Sept. 30 for non-tipped employees, following a constitutional amendment passed in 2020 that mandated annual $1 increases (with tipped employees' direct wages increasing to $11.98) and future raises tied to inflation. The Gainesville Sun
