UF student Felipe Zapata Velásquez, 27, was arrested in Gainesville on March 28 for driving with an expired license and registration and is now in ICE custody at Krome North Service Processing Center in Miami-Dade—he faces deportation proceedings that began after he was moved to Jacksonville.
