- ➤ The Alachua County Library District will open a new MakerSpace at its downtown Gainesville headquarters on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at 401 E. University Ave, where residents will get free access to 3D printers, laser cutters, sewing machines + workshops that help build digital and tech skills. The Gainesville Sun

- ➤ Jonah Marais, a former member of Why Don't We, is performing pop-up concerts at Depot Park in Gainesville and other Florida locations as he continues his solo music career. - ➤ Frazer School’s MATHCOUNTS team won the state competition on March 18th, setting a record by advancing five students into the 10-person countdown round. - ➤ On Saturday, the University of Florida will host the 16th annual Stomp The Swamp for Autism at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium where participants can walk or run to raise funds for the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD) to support autism services across 14 counties. - ➤ Tuesday night, the No. 13 Florida Gators baseball team beat Jacksonville 16 to 4 in a seven-inning run-rule game at Condron Family Ballpark (after a sweep loss to top-ranked Tennessee last weekend). Brendan Lawson, Justin Nadeau and Landon Stripling led a 14-hit offense with 12 RBIs as the Gators prepare for today’s game against FAMU and Friday’s matchup with Georgia. WRUF
- ➤ Monday night at KSP, the Gators beat No. 2 Texas three to one in their SEC home opener with strong pitching and defense that kept the Longhorns to just two hits.
