  • Alfred A. Ring Nature Park in Gainesville, FL, has reopened after completing boardwalk repairs and safety enhancements at a cost of $414,021.61, with future upgrades planned.  Alachua Chronicle

  • Southbound lanes of Interstate 75 in Alachua County are closed for an extended period after a fatal traffic accident.  WCJB
