- ➤ Crews from Alachua County Fire Rescue & Florida Forest Service responded to a wildfire on Northeast 15th St. that started around noon Saturday and were 90% contained on three acres by 2:00 p.m. with no structures in immediate danger. WCJB

- ➤ Florida Gators runners rewrote record books after competing at the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Arkansas and meets in Seattle and Boston on Feb. 13-14, achieving personal bests and school records as they prepare for the SEC Indoor Championships on Feb. 26.
