- ➤ UF students from Mountain Productions will stage 'Hedwig and the Angry Inch' at How Bazar downtown from Feb.26-Feb.28 with shows at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets cost $20 and are available online. The Independent Florida Alligator

- ➤ Buchholz High School opened a student-run pantry to address food insecurity among students and families. The pantry, supported by the local Mach Charitable Trust + Bread of the Mighty, is open Mondays from 3 to 4 with inventory funding committed for four years. Alachua County Today
- ➤ Students at the Alachua Regional Science and Engineering Fair showcased inventive projects on topics from space agriculture to nanobot cancer cures yesterday at Westwood Middle School, engaging judges with detailed research. The Gainesville Sun

- ➤ The Alachua County Housing and Strategic Division is calling for grant proposals to fund the East Gainesville Legacy Project, which will develop market-rate and affordable single-family homes at a 13-acre site at Southeast 15th Street and Southeast 8th Avenue.
