- ➤ Gainesville hosted its inaugural beer mile on Saturday at Cypress + Grove Brewery to benefit the Gainesville Area Rowing Club, as runner Adam Truesdale finished in 5:44 and over 60 local supporters braved 46 degrees and 20 mph winds to help fund rowing equipment and water upgrades.
