- ➤ The University of Florida achieved the No. 1 national ranking for online bachelor’s programs as released Tuesday by U.S. News—highlighting top ratings for business and veterans programs while showcasing strong faculty credentials and support services. - ➤ RTS canceled its contract with MV Paratransit Service due to budget constraints & will launch its own scheduling app with ride reservations opening Feb. 14 and official transition on March 1 after two weeks of driver training to meet ADA rules. The Independent Florida Alligator
- ➤ Alachua County signed a 30-year, $1M lease with UF for a new animal shelter near the College of Veterinary Medicine on Jan. 27, with construction expected to take about two years and benefit community student volunteers. The Gainesville Sun
