- ➤ Flu cases are hitting record levels as the CDC reported 8.2% of doctor visits show flu signs, while Florida has not updated its numbers since Dec. 13. Health experts say the flu will remain active for weeks & advise residents to check for free or low-cost shots. The Gainesville Sun

- ➤ Florida football running back Jaden Baugh announced Tuesday he will return for the 2026 season in Gainesville. He rushed for over 1,000 yards last season & coach Jon Sumrall said his re-signing is a top priority. GatorSports
- ➤ Florida football is building its 2026 roster as coach Jon Sumrall adds transfers from the portal ahead of the Jan. 16 deadline.
